L’evento più colorato dell’estate veronese, l’Italia Bodypainting Festival, è tornato! Sabato 14 luglio nel Parco Villa Bottagisio, in uno splendido lungolago a Bardolino (VR), si è svolta la settima edizione dell’evento che celebra a livello nazionale il bodypainting, ovvero la tecnica di dipingere direttamente sul corpo nudo di una persona per creare un’opera d’arte vivente.
“Maschere: tra realtà e finzione”. Quest’anno la Direzione artistica del Festival, composta dai vincitori delle prime tre edizioni, Flavio Bosco, Elena Tagliapietra e Fiorella Scatena, ha voluto stimolare le fantasie dei painters partecipanti, decidendo il tema “Maschere: tra realtà e finzione”.
Vince una inquietante “Joker” dagli occhi di ghiaccio. Matteo Arfanotti, artista trentottenne di Sarzana, è stato eletto vincitore dalla Giuria del Festival presentando un’affascinante quanto inquietante creatura dagli occhi di ghiaccio, la maschera rossa e sopratutto dei denti ben disegnati! Un personaggio femminile in stile Joker, il nemico di Batman, dalla pelle gialla, con un cappello a tre punte da cui penzolano altrettanti occhi, che impugna una maschera con bastone cornuta. L’artista ha poi completato l’opera dipingendo sulle forme generose della sua modella una sorta di abito, composto da strisce verdi arricciate alle estremità.

L’ispirazione viene soprattutto dal cinema. Gli altri artisti, principalmente italiani, non sono stati da meno, presentando personali versioni di fantastici personaggi quali Avatar, Cleopatra, Don Giovanni e Medusa, tra i più riconoscibili.
Pubblico numeroso, non mancavano i turisti. Il pubblico ha risposto numeroso all’evento fin dal pomeriggio, quando gli artisti hanno cominciato a dipingere sulle modelle. L’Italian Bodypainting Festival 2012 ha confermato le previsioni della vigilia, dimostrandosi uno show di successo, dal format ormai consolidato, capace di offrire un spettacolo colorato, fantasioso e sinuoso, coinvolgendo 30 painters, principalmente italiani, di livello tecnico elevato. È dunque un’ottima pubblicità per il settore che dà modo ai giovani talenti nostrani di mettersi in mostra e magari intraprendere una carriera in questa particolare disciplina.
